On March 10, 2022, Mercer County Genealogy members Sam Schmidt and Karla Hamblin were invited to speak on WCSM’s Spectrum. Our discussion had 2 areas of focus. Karla Hamblin spoke on the wonderful features of the Chapter’s updated website. Some side family history was also shared.

Sam Schmidt shared his extensive knowledge of German genealogy along with personal experiences he enjoyed while he lived there. Sam has also returned to Germany to assist in family research for his friend. Sam also offered his genealogical services to those interested in German research.
